Hey, I’m Malik Versie! My journey with 10 Fitness began the moment I stepped into the Jonesboro location and experienced the incredible atmosphere and friendliness. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 5 years, and it’s been an adventure filled with growth and learning.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Arkansas Tech University. During my time there, I completed an internship at St. Benards and worked as a trainer at two other gyms in Jonesboro for about 5 months. Professionally, I’m known for my expertise in programming and have a real passion for developing workouts. I absolutely love everything about working out.

What am I most passionate about? Helping others achieve their fitness goals. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the positive change in people’s energy and attitude after they’ve been working out and achieving their goals.

I excel at boosting my clients’ motivation for working out and aiding in their weight loss journey. My clients would say that I make working out fun and introduce them to new exercise modalities that they grow to love.

When I’m not working, you can find me at the gym, playing basketball, training athletes on the field, or unwinding with some video games. Personally, I’m passionate about working out – it’s something I do 5 to 6 days a week simply because I love it. Seeing older individuals and people with disabilities working out is a huge inspiration to me. It motivates me to keep doing what I do, both for them and myself.

I grew up in Jonesboro and have chosen to stay here because I’ve grown to love this city, and my family is here too. One of my favorite volunteer activities was going to elementary schools to high-five kids as they got off the bus every Friday morning – it was a small gesture that brought a lot of joy.

While I haven’t received any specific awards or medals, there are a few things I couldn’t imagine giving up: working out, playing basketball, and video games. They’re a big part of who I am.

I want to be remembered as a selfless man, someone who helped anyone and everyone as much as possible in any way I could. And while I might not have a favorite quote, movie, book, or podcast to share, I hope my actions and dedication to fitness and helping others speak for themselves.
