Hi, I’m Hunter Handly, a personal trainer at 10 Fitness, and I’m passionate about helping people become more functional in their daily lives. I’ve been in the fitness industry for 9 months, and my passion for fitness quickly turned into a passion for 10 Fitness itself.
I hold a certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas. My professional focus is on functionality, especially when it comes to preparing clients for long-distance hiking and outdoor activities. I believe that fitness should not just be about aesthetics but also about improving your ability to move and live freely.
Clients often say I’m energetic and engaging during our sessions, helping them not only improve their fitness but also their mood. Building trust with my clients is key to my training approach. I aim to create an environment where they feel comfortable and motivated to push beyond their limits.
When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me hiking, gaming, or hunting. I’m deeply inspired by nature and the drive to succeed, and I also have a love for storytelling—whether listening or sharing.
I grew up in Monticello, but my family has since moved away. In my spare time, I volunteer with PATH (Partners Against Trafficking Humans), a cause I’m passionate about.
I’ve won several archery competition medals, which is a fun part of my background. And when it comes to how I’d like to be remembered, I’ll keep it simple—I want to be remembered as legendary.
Favorite book? My House of Horrors.
