Hello! My name is Emmanuel Eyiuche and I am a trainer here at 10 Fitness at University. I started working here not only because it was the closest gym to where I lived, but also because I loved the energy of the people who came here to work out.
I’ve been a personal trainer for 3 years now. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science. I also got my PT certification with ACE in 2020, so you can say I’m pretty qualified!
One thing I’m known for professionally is my knack for connecting with people and helping them reach their fitness goals. I love making a difference in people’s lives, and fitness can do just that. It’s pretty awesome to think that I could be a part of someone’s fitness journey that they might tell their grandkids about someday! Aside from being a personal trainer, I’m also a supplement store clerk.
So, what am I best at solving for my clients? I would say accountability! My clients love that I hold them accountable for their exercises and nutrition, even outside the gym. Most of them just need someone to keep them on track, and I’m happy to do it.
When I’m not working, you can find me streaming games on YouTube for fun or creating content for social media in the park or gym. I love seeing results, whether it’s in fitness or anything else. I’m from Little Rock, AR, and I want to make a difference in my hometown by eventually opening my own gym and hopefully address the obesity rates here.
I also like to volunteer at marathon events and compete in bodybuilding competitions. Speaking of which, I won a few medals in my first competition, which was pretty cool. I absolutely love working out and eating hamburgers (I know, I know, not the healthiest but hey, balance is key!).
If there’s one thing I want to be remembered for, it’s inspiring people and being someone they enjoyed being around. My favorite book is “Atomic Habits” because it taught me that small habits could make a big difference. And my favorite quote is, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Oh, last but definitely not least fun fact about me, I love sushi!
