About Adrián
Hello! I’m Adrián de la Rosa Verás, an ISSA-certified personal trainer with a deep passion for fitness, athletic performance, and helping people transform their lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally. My journey in fitness began when I entered a baseball academy in Puerto Rico at 15, and ever since, I’ve been committed to pushing myself and others to achieve their full potential.
I studied athletic training at Rainy River Community College in Minnesota before continuing my education in exercise science with a minor in sports psychology at Iowa Wesleyan. Now, I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at Central Baptist College. This educational background has strengthened my ability to guide clients through their fitness journeys with a well-rounded approach to movement, performance, and mental resilience.
Professionally, I’m known for being a great listener. I believe that truly understanding my clients—how they feel, what they need, and what motivates them—is the key to success. Clients would say that I’m always available to answer their questions and that I take the time to explain exercises and strategies in a way that makes sense for them. Seeing people light up with confidence and happiness as they make progress is the most rewarding part of my work.
When I’m not at the gym, you’ll likely find me in my home music studio or on a baseball field—two of my biggest passions outside of fitness. I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Puerto Rico at 13, but baseball brought me to the United States, and I’ve been fortunate to continue my journey here.
I’m proud to have been recognized for my dedication as a Student-Athlete of the Year, Player of the Week, and as a consistent name on the Dean’s List. However, my biggest achievement is staying committed to a lifestyle of health and movement. Fitness isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.
I hope to be remembered as someone who genuinely went out of his way to help others, leaving behind a positive and lasting impact. I live by Derek Jeter’s words:
"There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do."
And here’s something fun—outside of fitness, I compete in Spanish rap battles! So whether it’s in the gym, on the field, or on the mic, I’m always up for a challenge.
