Hello! I’m Nathan Swanson. My journey with 10Fitness began because of the incredibly fun and knowledgeable trainers here. They not only challenge you but also ensure you’re well-educated every step of the way. Although this is my first stint as a personal trainer, I bring with me the energy and enthusiasm to make a difference.
I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management. Additionally, I’m a NASM-certified Personal Trainer. Professionally, I’m known for infusing energy and happiness wherever I go. My mission? To guide people towards healthier lifestyles so they can feel their best every day.
One of my biggest professional passions is to contribute positively to the national health crisis. Through personal training, I aim to instill confidence in individuals, helping them achieve the health and fitness levels they’ve always desired. Ask my clients, and they’ll tell you how committed I am to their health and happiness.
When I’m not at the gym, you can find me at home, either engrossed in a video game, reading a good book, or working on my yard. I have a keen interest in improving my form and posture during lifts and am always on the lookout for new nutrition plans.
Originally from Illinois, I moved to Missouri for college and have made it my home ever since. Volunteering holds a special place in my heart. Every Thanksgiving, I volunteer at Meals from the Heartland. I’ve also been involved with Convoy of Hope, Springfield Dream Center, and a recent Junior Achievement fundraiser. My dedication was recognized with a STAR Award in a previous job, highlighting my work ethic.
Weight training is something I can’t imagine giving up. It’s an integral part of who I am. I hope to be remembered for my happiness, humor, and the positive vibes I bring. My favorite quote? “I’m going on an adventure” by Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit. And just for fun, I’ll let you in on a little secret: I prefer cats over dogs!
