Hello! My name is Anthony Dumas and I am a trainer here at 10 Fitness at University. My journey as a personal trainer began in 2014, driven by a desire to help others create better lives for themselves by being proactive when it comes to overall health. I was drawn to work at 10 Fitness because of its positive environment and supportive atmosphere.
I grew up in North Little Rock, but I’m not currently living there. My educational background includes attending North Little Rock High School, UCA, and Heritage College. I am also an ACE-certified personal trainer.
Professionally, I am known for my expertise in functional and performance training. I am passionate about guiding my clients toward avoiding pain and exercising efficiently, which is the problem I am best at solving for them. My ideal clients would describe me as a knowledgeable and dedicated trainer who genuinely cares about their well-being.
When I’m not working, you can find me engaging in outdoor activities, watching football on Sundays, or indulging in my creative side by painting or reading. Personally, I am passionate about my family and finding peace in my life.
Volunteering holds a special place in my heart, especially when it comes to youth sports. I believe in giving back to the community and helping young athletes develop their skills and build their confidence. If there’s one thing that would be impossible for me to give up, it would be Oreos. It’s a small guilty pleasure that I allow myself to enjoy from time to time.
I hope to be remembered as not only a great trainer and professional but also an all-around great person. My favorite quote is “Anything you practice you’ll get good at. Including bs.” It’s a reminder that our actions and habits shape our lives, and we should be mindful of the things we choose to invest our time and energy in.
As for fun facts about me, if I wasn’t a trainer, I would have probably been a graphic design artist. I’ve always been fascinated by the creative process and the ability to communicate ideas through visual elements.
My passion for fitness, dedication to helping others improve their health, and genuine care for my clients have shaped my career as a personal trainer. With a love for family, peace, and giving back to my community, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me. Whether it’s through functional training, volunteering in youth sports, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment in nature, my life’s mission is to inspire and support others on their journey toward well-being.
