Hey there. I'm Michael Matise. I've been dedicated to strength training since I was 18 years old, and after nearly four decades, I still believe building strength is one of the best investments you can make in your health and quality of life. I've been employed with 10 Fitness as a full-time trainer for almost 4 years and am currently a Top Tier Trainer here at the Bryant location.
Before becoming a full-time trainer, I spent most of my professional career serving as a Police Officer and government security contractor. Those experiences taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of staying physically and mentally prepared: lessons I now share with every client I work with.
My training philosophy is simple: fitness should improve your life outside the gym. Whether your goal is building strength, losing weight, increasing longevity, improving mobility, recovering confidence, or simply having the energy to enjoy everyday life, I'll create a program that meets you where you are and helps you reach your full potential.
When I'm not in the gym, you'll usually find me working on home projects, playing drums, listening to music and spending time with my family and our dogs. I'm a bit of a hermit on my days off, but I wouldn't trade that time for anything.
I believe everyone is capable of becoming stronger than they think. My job is to help you discover just how capable you really are.
