I grew up in a small town in Los Angeles county. I left home about 5 years ago to be closer to my mom after retiring in Hot Spring Village. I now live in Maumelle with my wonderful partner. I’ve always been super passionate about being able to express myself through art. Whether it’s through a tattoo, makeup, a painting, my hair color, or anything else, self expression is definitely something I could never go without. I am certified through NASM and on the weekends, you can usually find me on the lake with my family or at an acro jam! Something else I do in my free time is volunteer. Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved my family’s Christmas Eve tradition. We go to an area with a high homeless population, and bring them “Santa packs.” These usually contain hand warmers, instant hot cocoa and water, blankets, warm socks, and other winter essentials.
Professionally, I am known primarily for adaptive fitness for folks with traumatic injuries and disabilities. Basically anything that puts you outside of the general population. Most of my clients, at some point before they met me, had given up on fitness. Whether it was because it was too painful or because everybody in their life had told them they wouldn’t be able to do it. I pride myself in being able to help them prove them wrong and become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves. I believe I am best at giving my clients an option when they feel like they have none. Offering new movements they’d never tried, making adaptations to movements that previously caused them pain, etc.
A few fun facts about me are that In high school, I won a “ground-breaker” award for being the first ever woman to make it on the school hockey team, something that would be impossible for me to give up would definitely cheesecake (I don’t care what you’ve got to say, you’re not getting my cheesecake away from me!), and I want to be remembered as the person you could come to and be fully, purely, 100% yourself. I want people in my circle to never feel ashamed or afraid of being exactly who they are. “You can be the best, ripest, juiciest peach in the whole world, but there’s always going to be somebody who just doesn’t like peaches.” by Dita Von Teese is my favorite quote and my very first professional performance as a circus artist was when I was 7 years old and I was a contortionist at the LA Staples Center!
