We have been pleasantly surprised by how smoothly our reopening from Covid-19 has gone. We have been able to offer most services and amenities in a way that is safe for our members and our staff. One amenity that we have scratched our heads over is Kids Club. We are not confident in the safety of offering a place for children to play and interact in a way that will prevent the spread of Covid-19 to the kids and to their families. Combine that reality with the fact that Kids Club serves only about 3% of our member base, and we have come to the difficult conclusion to not bring Kids Club back in the foreseeable future. This was not an easy decision because we realize that Kids Club was a critical service for some of our members and we are sorry for any inconvenience that this change may cause.
We are now in the process of reviewing how we will re-purpose our Kids Club spaces to best serve our members. If you have ideas, please let us know here. Also, please note that we have stopped charging for Kids Club and those charges will not reappear.
