Hello! I’m Matt Callahan, a seasoned trainer at 10 Fitness. After moving back to the area, I knew that 10 Fitness was the perfect place for me to continue my passion for coaching people and helping them reach their goals. With 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each training session.

I hold a NASM certification and have a bachelor’s degree in Business and Culinary Arts. My unique educational background complements my professional experience, allowing me to offer a well-rounded approach to fitness and nutrition.

Professionally, I’m known for my years in the ring as a world champion Muay Thai fighter. My experience and accomplishments in this demanding sport have given me a deep understanding of discipline, perseverance, and the physical and mental strength required to succeed.

What excites me the most about my work is the opportunity to change people’s lives. I love seeing clients start to see the big picture I have for them and realizing they can achieve their goals. My clients become like family to me, and together, we tackle any problem that arises, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the gym working out or enjoying any outdoor activities. Personally, I’m passionate about anything physical and love spending time outside, soaking in nature’s beauty.

I grew up in Arkansas, then moved to Virginia Beach, Georgia, and eventually back to Arkansas. This journey has shaped who I am and strengthened my commitment to fitness and helping others.

Volunteering is also a big part of my life, and I enjoy participating in any physical volunteer activities. My accomplishments include being an 8-time world champion in Muay Thai, a 3-time 1st place winner in men’s physique, a 2-time All-State wrestling champion, a 3-time state wrestling champion, and an All-American football player.

Tossing weight around is something I can’t imagine giving up. It’s a core part of who I am and what I love to do. I want to be remembered as a loving father to my two kids and as someone who made a positive impact on the lives of those I trained.

One of my favorite quotes is, “I didn’t hear no bell,” which captures my relentless spirit. My favorite movie is Southpaw, my favorite book is The Energy Bus, and my go-to podcast is Real AF.

And yes, I do smile, and I’m really nice to talk to, so don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation!

Looking forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals and being part of your transformative journey!
